Disney Hero - Spike

I had SO much trouble casting Spike; at points I considered Mowgli, Jim Hawkins, Arthur, Quasimodo, and Hercules, but in the end, Russell from Up seemed like the best choice. I think part of the reason Spike is so hard to cast is because he is at once a baby dragon and a teenager of sorts. He takes naps and sucks his claw, but at the same time he has a lot of responsibilities, and his ever-present sarcasm makes him seem older as well. Russell's eagerness to please, coupled with his sense of humor, are very similar to Spike's, and on a deeper level both have to deal with their feelings of abandonment from their parents.

Also, Peewee as a baby Kevin is adorable.

I'm still annoyed with the hat--half the time I spent on this was trying to get the hat to look right. Ugh.

Edit 10/26 Made him a little neater, changed the background, and got rid of Peewee, who was looking a little sad.
